Web App Development

Fast, SEO-friendly web applications that scale

NOTchip builds web applications with Next.js and React — the same stack powering products at Vercel, Notion, and Stripe. Server-side rendering means your pages load fast and rank well. Modern tooling means we ship features quickly.

We build the full stack: the React front end, the API layer (we favor Hono for type-safe, edge-ready APIs), the database schema (PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM), and the deployment pipeline. End-to-end type safety from database row to rendered component means whole classes of bugs never ship.

SEO isn't an afterthought bolted on at launch — server rendering, structured data, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals budgets are part of how we build from the first commit. This site is built the same way we build client work.

Pricing

Marketing sites and simple dashboards start around $5k–$10k; SaaS products with auth, billing, and a custom API typically run $15k–$40k. Fixed-price milestones, approved before each payment.

How It Works

  1. 01

    Scope & data model

We map the pages, user roles, and data model, then break the build into fixed-price milestones.

  2. 02

    Design system first

Components and layouts agreed in Figma before implementation — consistency across every screen from the start.

  3. 03

    Build & preview

Every milestone ships to a preview URL you can click through. Weekly demos, biweekly approvals.

  4. 04

    Performance & SEO pass

Core Web Vitals budget enforced, structured data validated, sitemap and metadata wired before launch.

  5. 05

    Deploy & hand over

Production deployment on your infrastructure (Vercel, a VPS, or your cloud), with docs and full repository ownership.

Common Questions

Why Next.js?

Server-side rendering out of the box (fast first paint, full content for search engines), a mature React ecosystem, and deployment flexibility — Vercel, containers, or your own servers. It's the stack we'd choose for our own products, because it is: this site runs on it.

Can you build the backend too?

Yes — most of our web projects are full-stack: Hono APIs, PostgreSQL with Drizzle ORM, authentication, and role-based access. One team, no front-end/back-end handoff gap.

Will it rank on Google?

We build the technical foundation ranking requires: server-rendered content, valid structured data, clean URLs, sitemaps, and fast Core Web Vitals. Content and authority take time, but the site won't be the bottleneck.

Can you take over an existing codebase?

Usually, yes — we start with a paid audit milestone that maps the state of the code and gives you a straight assessment of extend-vs-rebuild before you commit to more.
